केंद्र सरकार ने इंडिया टीवी को नोटिस जारी किया है। नोटिस में कहा गया है कि आतंकियों की बातचीत को चैनल पर प्रसारित कर इंडिया टीवी ने आतंकवादियों को अपना मकसद प्रचारित करने के लिए प्लैटफॉर्म मुहैया कराया है।
यह खबर दी है मीडिया की खबरों से जुड़ी एक वेबसाइट 'भड़ास4मीडिया डॉट कॉम' ने। हालांकि, इस खबर की आधिकारिक तौर पर अभी पुष्टि नहीं हुई है। वेबसाइट के मुताबिक चैनल को एक दिसंबर तक नोटिस का जवाब देने के लिए कहा गया है। जवाब संतोषजनक नहीं हुआ तो चैनल के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
वेबसाइट के मुताबिक इंडिया टीवी प्रबंधन ने आतंकियों से बातचीत के प्रसारण को उचित ठहराने की कोशिश की है। वेबसाइट ने चैनल के सीओओ रोहित बंसल को कोट करते हुए कहा है कि आतंकियों की बातचीत प्रसारित किए जाने से सुरक्षा एजंसियों को आतंकियों की ओरीजिन जानने में मदद मिली। इंडिया टीवी का मकसद इस प्रसारण के जरिए आतंकियों की ओरीजिन, इंटेंशन और बैकग्राउंड को जानना था। इसी बातचीत के जरिए सुरक्षा एजंसियों को पता चला कि ये आतंकी हैदराबाद या कहीं और से नहीं बल्कि पाकिस्तान से आए हैं। चैनल के मुताबिक दुनिया भर में मीडिया द्वारा लादेन के संदेशों और लश्कर तथा हिजबुल के कमांडरों के इंटरव्यू प्रकाशित-प्रचारित कर उनके इरादों का खुलासा किया जाता रहा है।

Channel had repeatedly asked the terrorists to surrender as they were surrounded by security forces and appealed to them to release the hostages.

The first call came in the morning from Shadullah who was holed up in Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai. Using Cellphone no. 09769679723 belonging to a Swedish lady named Lisa Ringner from Room No. 1856, Hotel Oberoi, Shadullah rang up India TVs popular number 93505 93505
The second call was from another terrorist Imran Babar from Nariman House, Mumbai, where he used the cellphone no. 9819464530 belonging to Holtzberg Gaverlein, staying at Nariman House Number 3, Hormusji Street, Colaba, Mumbai.

मेरा मानना है कि आतंकियों से बातचीत का फूटेज दिखाकर बहुत ही
ग़लत काम किया है बल्कि देश के प्रति एक अपराध किया है और ये कोई
पहली बार नहीं हुआ है . पूर्व में भी समाचार चैनल आतंकियों और
अपराधियों को अनपेक्षित फुटेज देते रहे हैं. आपको शायद याद हो कि कुछ महीनों
पहले दाऊद के कारनामों को मदारी वाले अंदाज में घंटे-घंटे भर का कार्यक्रम कई दिनों तक दिखाया
गया था. कमांडो गजेन्द्र सिंह की सहादत शायद लाइव टेलीकास्ट का दुखद परिणाम है. बाद में इन्हें या तो सुबुद्धि आई
या सरकार से आदेश . टी आर पी की इस अंधी दौड़ ने हम पत्रकारों को अपना सामजिक दयित्व भूलने को मजबूर कर
दिया है. मैंने मजबूर शब्द का इस्तेमाल इसलिए किया है क्योंकि मेरा मानना है कि पत्रकारों को आज भी यदि हम किसी
चमत्कारिक तरीके से नौकरी की चिंता से मुक्त रख सकें तो हमारे लोकतंत्र की दशा और दिशा दोनों बदल सकती है.

मीडिया को अभी सीखना होगा की कैसे आतंकवाद हादसे की रिपोर्टिंग की जाये...ऐसे हालात में सिर्फ़ ख़बर दिखा देना ही जिम्मेदारी नही है!
