I am also copying the same press release below for your perusal, ______________________________________________________________________Press ReleaseOur Blood, Others LifeKutch Yuvak Sangh in alliance with Vakharia Ex- Students Association (VESA) organized a Blood Donation Campaign on the 21st of February 2010 at Vakharia Academy (A premiere Coaching Institution since 2001 ). More than 500 people donated blood. Mr. Hitesh Vakharia, Director, Vakharia Academy strongly believes that youth, its power, its strength and idealism is what is required today. Keeping this in mind “VESA” initiative was launched, wherein more than 2000 ex students of Vakharia Academy come together and help organize such social events. “It is a great initiative taken by Kutch Yuvak Sangh and the ex students of Vakharia Academy. I am sure that they will come up with many such social campaigns”, says Shri. Gopal Shetty, M.L.A. And B.J.P. Mumbai President “Youth has the power to visualize and change the world. And with such young visualizers, India is definitely in safe hands.” Apart from Shri. Gopal Shetty, Mr. Amarji Jandwal- Ex Chief Fire Officer of Mumbai and Mumbai Police officials were also a part of this campaign. Not only blood donation, but the campaign also managed to collect Rs. 51,000/- for the family of Late Mr. Pradeep Jagde, the brave fireman who lost his life in the Borivli Goyal Shopping Centre fire outburst. ‘Donate a Book Campaign’ is next in the list of VESA. “Our Blood, Others Life” was truly what was seen and achieved by Kutch Yuvak Sangh and VESA that day.________________________________________________________________________________
