भोपाल । राष्ट्र सेवा और भारत माँ का कर्ज चुकाने के लिए पत्रकारिता के पेशे में आयें। पत्रकारिता करते समय आप जितनी बड़ी दृष्टि रखेंगे, आपका क्षितिज भी उतना बड़ा होगा। स्वाध्याय के साथ, अहंकार रहित जीवन एवं भयादोहन जैसी बुराईयों से दूर रहकर ही पत्रकारिता के पेशे का वास्तविक सम्मान प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। पत्रकार के जीवन में दिशा नहीं होगी तो वह राष्ट्र की सेवा नहीं कर सकता है। यह विचार आज माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी राष्ट्रीय पत्रकारिता एवं संचार विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा आयोजित सत्रारंभ 2016 के तृतीय दिवस पर समापन सत्र में मध्यप्रदेश के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री, श्री जयभान सिंह पवैया ने व्यक्त किए। उन्होंने कहा कि पत्रकार वह होता है जो दूसरों को ख्याति देता है। यदि एक हिन्दू नेता के रूप में देश ने मुझे पहचाना है तो इसमें सबसे बड़ी भूमिका पत्रकार एवं मीडिया की है।


पत्रकारिता विश्वविद्यालय का नामकरण दादा माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी के नाम से किया गया है। यहाँ पढ़ने वाले विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरणा लेने के लिए दादा माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी का नाम ही काफी है। उन्होंने सत्रारंभ कार्यक्रम की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि मैंने प्रदेश के सभी महाविद्यालयों, विश्वविद्यालयों के पदाधिकारियों से कहा है कि विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरणा देने के लिए ऐसे सत्रांरभ कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जाने चाहिए। शिक्षा मंत्री बनने के बाद मैंने सबसे पहला आदेश यह जारी किया कि प्रदेश के सभी शिक्षा संस्थानों में राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के साथ राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी, स्वामी विवेकानंद एवं बाबा साहब भीमराव अम्बेडकर की फोटो अवश्य लगाई जाए। ऐसे निर्णय व्यक्ति के मन पर गहरा प्रभाव छोड़ते हैं। उन्होंने स्वामी विवेकानंद के अनेक प्रसंगों से विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्र प्रेम के प्रति उद्वेलित किया।

अध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन में विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. बृज किशोर कुठियाला ने कहा कि आज का मीडिया जोड़ने का काम करता है, तोड़ने का नहीं। आज मीडियाकर्मी संचारक की भूमिका निभा रहा है। राष्ट्र के प्रति अपने दायित्व को समझना मीडिया के विद्यार्थियों के लिए बहुत जरूरी है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से आग्रह किया कि जिज्ञासु प्रवृत्ति को अधिक से अधिक बढ़ाना चाहिए। ज्ञान प्राप्ति एक अनंत यात्रा है और उस पर निरंतर चलते रहना चाहिए। एक पत्रकार के रूप में हम राष्ट्र के प्रति अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर कर दें, यही हमारी सोच होनी चाहिए। सत्र में सत्रारंभ कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रतिदिन निकाले जा रहे समाचार पत्र ‘सत्रारंभ 2016’ का विमोचन भी अतिथियों द्वारा किया गया।

‘जीवन निर्माण में धर्म की भूमिका’विषयक सत्र में भोपाल शहर काज़ी, मुश्ताक अहमद नदवी, फादर पी.पी. जोसेफ एवं श्री वैदिक मिशन ट्रस्ट, राजकोट के संस्थापक स्वामी धर्मबंधु ने अपने विचार रखे। शहर काज़ी मुश्ताक अहमद नदवी ने कहा कि मैं इस्लाम धर्म का विद्यार्थी हूँ। इंसान अपनी मर्जी से दुनिया में नहीं आया है, बल्कि मालिक ने उसे भेजा है। इंसान यदि अपने जीवन में धर्म की महत्ता को समझे तो उसकी जिंदगी चैन से गुजरेगी। पूरी कायनात इंसान के लिए बनाई गई है। इसलिए इंसानियत ही सबसे बड़ा धर्म है। फादर पी.पी. जोसेफ ने कहा कि धर्म एक दर्शन है जो आस्थाओं और विश्वास को अपने आप में समाहित करता है। सभी धर्मों की तरह क्रिश्चन धर्म की यह मान्यता है कि ईश्वर एक है। ईश्वर एक शक्ति है, जिसे आप जीसस, अल्लाह या ब्रम्हा किसी भी नाम से पुकार सकते हैं। श्री स्वामी धर्मबंधु ने कहा कि धर्म शब्द संस्कृत भाषा से आया है। हम जो कहते हैं उसका अनुसरण करना ही हमारा धार्मिक होना है। धर्म नहीं होगा तो हमारा जीवन अराजक हो जाएगा। इतिहास के तथ्य बताते हैं कि सत्ता हासिल करने के लिए 19 बार लड़ाईयाँ हुईं, जबकि धर्म के नाम पर 234 बार लड़ाईयाँ हुईं। धर्म का मुख्य संदेश जियो और जीने दो है। आज के दौर में हमें नैतिक मूल्यों को अपने भीतर खोजना होगा। मानव जीवन पर व्यापार, धर्म एवं विज्ञान का प्रभाव होता है। आज समस्या यह है कि धर्म एवं विज्ञान पर व्यापार का प्रभाव बढ़ता जा रहा है।

‘जनसंपर्क की नई दिशा’विषयक सत्र में प्रख्यात जनसंपर्क विशेषज्ञ श्री सुभाष सूद ने कहा कि जनसंपर्क के क्षेत्र में अपार संभावनाओं के साथ चुनौतियाँ भी हैं। जनतंत्र एवं बाजारवाद के कारण जनसंपर्क का विस्तार होता जा रहा है। भारत में अब नई सोच एवं तकनीकी कौशल के साथ जनसंपर्क करने की आवश्यकता है। प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में अब जनसंपर्क के महत्व को समझा जा रहा है इसलिए जनसंपर्क की जिम्मेदारियाँ बढ़ती जा रही हैं। जनसंपर्क में ‘सम्पर्क’को ‘संबंध’में बदलने की आवश्यकता है। जनसंपर्क कर्मियों को अपने विषय को लक्षित जनसमूह के समक्ष मनोरंजक तरीके से प्रस्तुत करना चाहिए और अपनी सोच को क्रिएटिव बनाना चाहिए। आज मार्केटिंग के लोग जनसंपर्क को एक प्रभावी उपकरण की तरह उपयोग कर रहे हैं। जनसंपर्क में व्यक्ति को अपने लक्षित जनसमूह को संस्थान के साथ भावनात्मक रूप से जोड़ने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

‘चुनाव एवं मीडिया’विषयक सत्र में अपने विचार रखते हुए चुनाव आयुक्त, श्री ओ.पी. रावत ने कहा कि हमें गर्व है कि निर्वाचन आयोग और मीडिया ने लोकतंत्र की जड़ों को मजबूत किया है। एक पत्रकार के तौर पर निर्वाचन संबंधी गतिविधियों को कवर करते समय तटस्थता एवं निष्पक्षता आवश्यक है। आज मीडिया के साथ पेड न्यूज जैसी बुराई आ रही है और मीडिया को इससे दूर रहना चाहिए। चुनाव के दौरान निर्वाचन आयोग सम्पूर्ण मीडिया पर नजर रखता है। मीडिया को चाहिए कि वह निर्वाचन से जुड़े विषयों पर आम जनता को जागरूक करे।

‘शोध में कैरियर’विषयक सत्र में प्रो. बी.एस. नागी ने कहा कि शोध में आंकड़े व तथ्यों का सही होना बहुत जरूरी है क्योंकि इनके आधार पर ही विश्वसनीयता का निर्माण होता है। साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जिस क्षेत्र में हम शोध कर रहे हैं हमें उस क्षेत्र के लोगों के बीच में जाकर उनके मत व उनकी रुचि व अरुचि का अध्ययन भी अवश्य करना चाहिए। कोई भी कम्पनी अपने प्रोडक्ट को मार्केट में उतारने से पहले लक्षित जन समूह का शोध कर रणनीति बनाती है। ‘भारत की विज्ञान परम्परा’पर बोलते हुए वैज्ञानिक श्री जयंत सहस्त्रबुद्धे ने कहा कि आज का युग विज्ञान का युग है। आज के युवाओं को एक बहुत बड़ा भ्रम यह है कि विज्ञान की सारी धाराएँ विदेशों से भारत में आई हैं, जबकि वास्तविकता इसके बिलकुल विपरीत है। अतः युवाओं को अपने देश की विज्ञान परम्परा को समझना आवश्यक है। गणित का स्थान विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण है। अपने देश में खगोल गणित का विकास बहुत समय पहले ही हो चुका था। अपने देश में धातु से औषधि निर्माण विज्ञान किया जाता रहा है। चरक ने आधुनिक रसायन की नींव डाली थी। आज का भौतिक विज्ञान एक बार फिर से सृष्टि निर्माण की प्रक्रिया का पूरा अध्ययन कर रहा है। युवा पीढ़ी पर दायित्व है कि वो भारतीय प्राचीन विज्ञान परम्परा का प्रचार-प्रसार करे। सहस्त्र बुद्धे जी ने कहा कि विज्ञान के पीछे के सिद्धान्तों को समझना बहुत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने डा. अब्दुल कलाम का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि वे अकसर कहा करते थे यदि भारत को विकसित राष्ट्र बनना है तो उसे अपनी पूर्व परम्पराओं को समझना होगा। उसके आधार पर ही हम श्रेष्ठ भारत का निर्माण कर सकते हैं।

"Journalists' aim must be towards the benefit of nation building"- Jaybhaan Singh Pawaiya

Bhopal : "Come into journalism field with set agenda of performing duties in favour of the Nation and hence Mother India. The more you keep your vision broader the more you will excel. To attain greater heights in journalism, one must stay from egoistic attitude and ill-practices, yet performing self-studies to acquire knowledge". A journalist cannot perform his duties if he doesn't perform keeping national development in mind", said Mr. Jaibhaan Singh Pawaiya, Minister of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh during the closing ceremony of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication's orientation program 2016. He acknowledged the role of media in establishing his image as a hindu leader.  

He said that it is high prestige to study in a university which is in the name of highly acclaimed freedom fighter & journalist Makhanlal Chaturvedi. Praising this orientation program, he said that he has asked other institutes, colleges and universities of state to organise such an event to motivate their students. Soon as he swears in, he directed the educational bodies to raise national flag daily and display the photographs of Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He also recited few lines of Swami Vivekanand to motivate the students for awakening the positive aesthetics.

While chairing the session, Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiala delivered his speech mentioning that media works to attach people, not to disseminate. Now, the media persons are working as communicators thus it is very important that we understand our role as media persons while being a student itself. He requested all the students to increase their questioning quotient in student life because acquiring knowledge is a lifelong process. As a journalist we must aim at claiming all that we have for the benefit of nation. An orientation-2016 special daily newspaper was also inaugurated in this session.

City Qazi Mukhtar Ahmed Naqvi, Father P.P. Joseph, and Swami Dharmbandhu, Founder, Vedic Mission Trust, Rajkot presented their views on the topic "Importance of Religion in building life". City Qazi Mukhtar Ahmed Naqvi said that he is a student of Islam. Human hasn't on this Earth on their own but the almighty has sent him.  If a human understands the importance of the religion, then he would live his life with ease. This whole world has been created for humans which is the reason why Humanity is the greatest religion of all. According to Father Joseph, religion is a philosophy which constitutes faith and believes in it. Like all religions, even Christianity teaches that God is One. That is only one ultimate spirit whom we call Jesus, Allah or Brahma. Shri Swami Dharmbandhu said that the word religion has been derives from Sanskrit. Religion is to follow and realize that we have said because if religion won't exist, then there won't be any humanity.  History says that there have been 19 wars for kingship whereas 234 wars for the sake of religion. Live and let live is the ultimate teaching of religion. In today's world, we need to find values within. There is an effect of science, religion and commerce on human life. But in today's life, commerce has overpowered religion and science.

Renowned personality from Public Relations sector, Mr. Subhash Sood shared his views on the topic, "New Era of Public Relation". He said that there is a lot of scope in this field along with certain challenges. Due to public and market, PR is flourishing. Now, there is a need to replace the word "Sampark" with "Sambhandh" in "Jansampark".  In India, now there is a need of practicing PR with advanced technology. Various sectors understand the importance of PR and hence PR needs to be further mature.  There must be a kind of a presentation which is geographical centric and keeps changing their technological use with different audiences, keeping higher creativity aspects in mind. Today, PR is being highly used by marketing people to lure the customers. Thus a PR practitioner must relate themselves emotionally with the audience.

Mr. O.P. Rawat, Commissioner Election Commission, shared his views on the topic, "Media and Election". He is proud on the relations of election commission and media which have together strengthened the roots of democracy in India.  While reporting during elections, a reporter must be accurate and transparent because the nation keeps an eye closely over media. Thus media should awaken the election spirits among the citizens of the nation.

Over "Research and Career" topic, Prof. B.S. Nagi said that research data ought to be accurate because it is the basis of credibility. He added that whatever research we conduct should be conducted while going among the respondents to note down their interests. All the marketing companies are entirely dependent on the research conclusions to plan out for marketing their products. Mr. Jayant Yashwant Sahastrabudhay, Scientist, shared his views on the topic; "Indian Scientific Tradition" saying today's generation is 'science' generation. Todays's Indian youth have illusion that all the science has come from other parts of the world but that is not true but exactly opposite. Thus today's youth need to understand the importance of the Indian Scientific Tradition. Mathematics carries a lot of importance in science. In India, astronomy was started way back in history. Indian scientists have already researched to develop medicines from metals. Charak laid the foundation stone of advanced chemical technology. Today's, space science is studying the creation of planet yet again. It is on today's youth that they advertise Indian Scientific Tradition. He emphasised that we ought to understand the principles behind science. He remembered respected Dr. Kalam quoting that if Indian science needs to flourish, then we need to understand the old Indian Scientific Tradition. This is the only way to build India, Great India.
