वाराणसी में पीएमओ की कोई ईकाई नहीं

मीडिया में अक्सर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के लोक सभा क्षेत्र वाराणसी में मिनी पीएमओ (प्रधान मंत्री कार्यालय) होने की बात चर्चा में आती है. लेकिन पीएमओ द्वारा लखनऊ स्थित एक्टिविस्ट डॉ नूतन ठाकुर को आरटीआई में दी गयी सूचना के अनुसार वाराणसी में पीएमओ की कोई ईकाई नहीं है. नूतन ने वाराणसी में पीएमओ की किसी ईकाई या कार्यालय की स्थापना के सम्बन्ध में अभिलेख देने का अनुरोध किया था जिसपर पीएमओ के जन सूचना अधिकारी प्रवीण कुमार ने अपने पत्र दिनांक 26 अक्टूबर 2017 द्वारा स्पष्ट किया कि वाराणसी में पीएमओ की कोई ईकाई या कार्यालय नहीं है.


No unit of PMO in Varanasi

While talks of there being a Mini PMO (Prime Minister Office) in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Loka Sabha constituency Varanasi often come in media, as per the RTI information provided by PMO to Lucknow based activist Dr Nutan Thakur clearly says that there is no unit of PMO at Varanasi. Nutan had asked to provide documents as regards setting of any unit or wing of the PMO in Varanasi, and the list of all officers of PMO posted there. Praveen Kumar, Under Secretary and CPIO of PMO clearly replied through his letter dated 26 October 2017 that there is no unit or wing of PMO in Varanasi.
