National president of Azad Adhikar Sena Amitabh Thakur has sent a letter petition to the Chief Justice of India praying before him to immediately stop ED director Sanjay Mishra from initiating any new enquiry.
He has said in his letter petition that Sanjay Mishra was granted special extension of tenure by Supreme court up to 15 September, with the mandate that we shall complete the ongoing enquiries. Instead he seems to be initiating new enquiries against people opposed to Central government, in violation to the Supreme court mandate.
Hence Amitabh Thakur has requested the Chief Justice to immediately take up the letter petition and restrain Sanjay Mishra from taking up any new enquiry on political and extraneous considerations.
