Rahul is a promising dancer of guru deba prasad Das style of Odissi. He was initiated to odissi dance By Smt. Jyoti Shrivastava in the tender age of seven. Initially he was trained in Odissi dance as well as Hindustani vocal music but after 5 Years of training he devoted himself towards Odissi only. He has performed in all major production of vaishali kala kendra, Noida, a performing arts institution established by his guru. He has performed almost all over india to appreciative audiences and recently performed in International Odissi Dance Festival ''Stirring Odissi'' Malaysia.
Rahul has also attend various workshop with Guru Durga Charan Ranbir, Ramli ibrahim, Guru Shashankdhar Acharya and guru gangadhar pradhan. he has been under scholarship from the centre for cultural resource and training for the last four years. Under the able guidance of guru. His talent is shaped to the extent of attaining the level of presenting his debut solo performance ''MANCHA PRAVESH''
His aim to excel in Odissi and bring glory to this art form.
राहुल की ज़मीनी हकीकत
राहुल एक होनहार बालक होने के साथ सर्वगुण संपन्न है. पर उसके पास उतना धन नही है. पर उसका सबसे अनमोल खजाना उसकी माँ है. जो दुनिया का हर दर्द सहकर उसे आगे बढ़ने में कोई कसार नही छोड़ रही है. नॉएडा के सेक्टर ५६ के एक छोटे से एक कमरे के घर में गुज़र बसर कर रहे राहुल के पास इतना भी पैसा नही है की वो अपने मकान को सही करवा सके. पर उसकी माँ उसे स्वेटर बुनकर उसे पढ़ा लिखा तो रही है इसके साथ ही उसके हर प्रतिभा का पूरा सम्मान भी कर रही है. राहुल को किसी की मदद की ज़रूरत नही है पर हाँ अगर लोग उसे बड़ी संख्या में जुटकर त्रिवेणी सभागार में उसके मंच प्रवेश पर उसका उत्साहवर्धन ज़रूर कर सकते हैं तो देर किस बात की ये काम ज़रूर करिएगा मैं आप सभी का इंतज़ार करूंगा पॉँच अक्टूबर को.
